NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma entry requirements

You should already have a fundamental understanding of health and safety issues, such as risk management, hazard control, accident investigation, and international regulation.

We always recommend taking a foundation-level qualification like the NEBOSH General Certificate or having at least 5 years’ work experience before taking the course.

What's covered in the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma?

The NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma teaches health and safety management at senior-level. It's based on best practice and international regulation, such as the International Labour Organisations (ILO) codes of practice.

The course has three units:

FAQs

What is the new NEBOSH International Level 6 Diploma?

The NEBOSH International Diploma is moving to Ofqual regulation, and as a result is now known as the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals.

The course syllabus and learning outcomes remain the same as the previous specification.
The main driver in this change was to restore all International learners the ability to use their qualification to achieve IOSH membership.

Although there is no change in syllabus, NEBOSH have made some amendments to the assessment process, such as the length of each assessment and the number of marks available.  For a full breakdown of these changes you can read our blog here:
