To enroll in this program, it is recommended that you possess a fundamental understanding of health and safety issues such as risk management, hazard control, accident investigation, and international regulations. We strongly advise candidates to first complete a foundation-level qualification such as the NEBOSH General Certificate Certificate or have at least 5 years of work experience in the health and safety field before undertaking this diploma.
The NEBOSH International Diploma provides comprehensive training in senior-level health and safety management. It adheres to international best practices and regulations, including the codes of practice set out by the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

The NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma takes a practical approach to learning and evaluation. It is assessed solely through practical assignments and scenario-based questions.
The assessments for Unit DI1 include:
project For Units DI2 and DI3, you will be assessed through case studies and scenario-based questions. You will have between 2 to 4 weeks to complete your assessments and submit your work via the NEBOSH online portal. It is recommended to allocate around 40 hours for the DI1 assignment and 20 hours each for the DI2 and DI3 assignments.

The NEBOSH International Diploma is moving to Ofqual regulation, and as a result is now known as the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals.
The course syllabus and learning outcomes remain the same as the previous specification.
The main driver in this change was to restore all International learners the ability to use their qualification to achieve IOSH membership.
