Possessing a foundation-level qualification, such as the NEBOSH General Certificate or a minimum of 5 years' work experience in health and safety is highly recommended before enrolling in this course.
The NEBOSH International Diploma delves into senior-level health and safety management. It is based on global best practices and international regulations, including codes of practice from the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

The NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma adopts a practical approach to learning and assessment. Evaluation is entirely based on practical work and scenario-based questions.
DI1 is assessed with a practical assignment split into 4 sections:
Units DI2 and DI3 are assessed through case studies and scenario-based questions. You will typically have 2-4 weeks to complete your assessments and submit them through the NEBOSH online portal. On average, students should dedicate approximately 40 hours to their DI1 assignment and 20 hours each to their DI2 and DI3 assignments.

The NEBOSH International Diploma is moving to Ofqual regulation, and as a result is now known as the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals.
The course syllabus and learning outcomes remain the same as the previous specification.
The main driver in this change was to restore all International learners the ability to use their qualification to achieve IOSH membership.
